If you do watch Record of Lodoss Wars watch the original OVA, do not watch the Legend of Crystania or the RoLW TV.


Reason for warning about Crystania:
There is no greater sight in a bad movie watching a swordsman decapitact a knight on horse back along with decapitating the horse he is riding on, only to have in the next scene be unable to break a door down. Wooden. With sword. Yup.

The TV series was just horrifying. You know what a split screen is correct? 49 split screen shots in the first 20 minute episode. IT's dramatic the first time, but the other 48 times it's just annoying.

I have to say my favorite was the Star Lords video. I was thinking the same thing during Return of the King, when Legolas charged the oliphants, the thing that popped in my mouth was "Dak, set the harpoon cable."

However, the singing Spock, scared the living doodley-poop outta me.
