Once More Into the Screech, Dear Friends

Spent today mostly sleeping and otherwise recuperating from pain week plus gaming megasession. Tomorrow will go one of two ways: the courier will be back and I'll go to the funeral of a co-worker's spouse, or the courier will still be on vacation and I'll be moving another boatload of boxes.

Either way, I'm not looking forward to it.

The good news is, I've got a three day week, followed by Dragon*Con, and the New! Improved! SJ t-shirts -- which are actually YELLOW where they're supposed to be and not avacado green -- should be waiting for me in Atlanta when I get there. (I've mentioned before that t-shirt maven [livejournal.com profile] mammallamadevil rules, right?)

Some more gaming geekery, just because you can never have enough: I returned the EverQuest d20 Player's Handbook and exchanged it for Call of Cthulhu d20 instead, and I think I got a much better deal. I don't know if I'll have opportunity to use it -- I'm a bit concerned about how CoC would be received -- but if nothing else it makes for enjoyable reading material.

That's it for now. Is the weekend really over already? Sigh.

G'nite.

Who WOULDN'T love an eldritch horror from sunken R'lyeh?

CoC d20

Well, from the Puppy, it would be received favorably. I'm all for pretending I've had the beejeezus scared out of me. Plus, any gaming is good gaming, though some forms are better than others. I've actually been interested in playing that one. -Frisk

Call of Cthulhu

Too bad we're not in the same place, I'd love to play Call of Cthulhu...Ray bought that years ago and we thought it sounded interesting, but never tried it. I'm a big Lovecraft fan anyway, which I suppose you know, since you bought me the Miskatonic University graduates kit for Christmas some years ago....and since I wandered around DragonCon last year with a stuffed Cthulhu! :)
