Bawl, Bawl, Weep Weep Weep

Working from home means I can watch movies on the laptop while I code.

But when the movie is Return of the King it gets pretty hard to work by the end! *snurfle*

I need to re-read them books.

PS: Still, I suppose I should look on the bright side.

Ah, yes, blubber. I know that one.

So, then, you were *not* talking about those strange drink-mix...things...from the 80s, you know, the one in the collapsible plastic bottle.

I had a grape one once. It was horrible. But the container was fun to play with..

The ending of TRotK is sad? Why? :)

Frodo sails off to Valinor and leaves his Shire buddies, but a significant number of the cast go with him... It's not like a journey into lonesome exile! Plus he gets to have tea with the Valar and Maia, which looks good in his social engagements calendar.

Elves gone! Gandalf gone! Bilbo gone! Frodo gone! Elrond gone! Bwaaahahahahaaaa! *blubber*

For that matter, in the movie at least, that's the last ship to leave Middle Earth -- which means Legolas and Gimli gone too. (I can't remember if it's the last ship in the book.)

I seem to recall the book having Legolas and Gimli build their own boat in an effort to reach Valinor.

Last time I heard that song was when my family got me tickets to Spamalot for Christmas. Patsy ended up singing that to Arthur.

I totally don't get that reference. But Google suggests it has something to do with Transformers.

Yeah, it's a Transformers reference. Bah weep graaagnah wheep ni ni bong is the universal greeting used in the movie.

I'm impressed that you were able to find that with Google since the greeting's spelling isn't standardized.
