Sinbad

Saw Sinbad. :) It was a pretty good flick; easily as good as the live-action Harryhousen ones, and in fact with better acting. ;) Was a bit talky in places and had a few tired bits that should have ended up on the cutting room floor (particularly the whole "no place for a woman" bit ... that issue's long dead folks).

Cool high fantasy stuff, only somewhat dumbed down for the kiddies. Not as good as The Road to El Dorado, but better than Finding Nemo.

Soundtrack was way cool, too. Now I'm all anxious to see Pirates of the Carribbean.

Forgot To Mention...

I saw Spirited Away on DVD last night. Enjoyable, in a "WTF?" sorta way. Kinda like Cardcaptor Sakura Through the Looking Glass Reading the Never-Ending Story.

I kept waiting for the payoff and never really got one, but then it's anime, isn't it? :)

It was better than Princess Mononoke, anyhow, but certainly not something I'm in a hurry to see again.
