Video Games From Other Universes

"Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" looks intriguing ... but what the heck game system is it on? Not PC or iPad, I'm assuming. I also have an X-Box 360, PS2, and a GameCube. Would any of those work?

I don't have any idea where the guy with a pyramid for a head comes from. There's this whole universe of games out there I have no clue about.

The Pyramid Head guy is likely from the Silent Hill franchise. I think the phoenix wright is from the gameboy lineup, iirc. *checks intarwebs* yup. It's also downloadable on the Wii. None of that's really helpful with your lineup of systems.

Heh, yeah, there are quite a lot of different series of games now-a-days. The Ace Attorney series is mainly on the Nintendo DS, though the first game, "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney", can be bought for the iPhone and iPod Touch. As for pyramid head, he's from the Silent Hill series.

The Ace Attorney series is a great series for the Nintendo DS - the closest Japan has ever gotten to Western-style point-and-click adventure games.

Pyramid Head is a recurring enemy in the Silent Hill series of survival horror games. What is this even in reference to?

You always get much more entertaining answers when you ask here...

(By the way, if you didn't get the answer, it's only available for the Mitsubishi MuGuGaiPan, a game system that is only available from an undercover dealer in Vienna, North Korea. Knock on his door five times, answer his five trivia questions in Esperanto, and be sure to pay in dinars.)

Ahh, Wing Commander. Now that's a series that needs some Next-Gen lovin'.

Where does Privateer fit in the timeline of the other WC games?

Somewhere between II and III. The Church of Man cultists are flying leftovers from II, but the Kilrathi War is still going.
