Basically, I liked hanging out with Ray, loved my dog and didn't want to give her up, hated living with my mother (whose company I love when I visit, but she drives me nuts when I live with her), knew if I didn't go somewhere where I didn't have her to fall back on that I'd never take life seriously and make it on my own, and had many fond memories of Florida.

I do hate the heat, but there is tons of great wildlife and lakes everywhere....it has it's beauty....and then, of course, it has mosquitos, heat, deadly creatures, giant roaches, and other assorted nastyness....oh well, no place is perfect! :)
