If you are in a game session where there are a lot of "buff" spells cast on your characters to make them tougher than normal, it can be hard to remember to figure them all in. There are plenty of situations where somebody thinks they haven't rolled high enough to hit (or whatever) until they remember to add in all the fiddly little modifiers. :)

*LOL* Ah, a board game! yes, so many rules that you can almost forget tiny stuffs that just might be great advantages/counter attack *LOL*
