Did Something Go *poink*?

Hmm ... apparently it was my eyelids. 0.o

I don't know why I was suddenly wide awake at 5:30 in the morning, but after feeling like death-warmed-over since the inception of Daylight Savings Time, I'm not going to quibble about it.

I wouldn't exactly call myself bright-tailed and bushy-eyed, but I am at least relatively perky and have recovered some of my creative spark. To that end, I will probably do some work from home today, but spend the rest of the day catching up on some of the stuff I haven't been doing for the past two weeks, including (but not necessarily limited to) a workout, drawing a few strips ahead, and finishing the "Official Leona Fanboy" image.

Basically, I've got to take advantage of this energy spurt while I've got it, because who knows how long it will last? I feel like crap when I'm not accomplishing anything, so it's time to get some getting stuff done done.

that happens to me a lot. I've never been a good sleeper. (the few times a year i DO get a good full night's sleep, i'm so hyper the next day, i scare people) I've got the internal clock from hell. It has no weekend or holiday setting. Around rolls 7 am or so and it's like jerry yanking on tom's eyelash in the old cartoons, and it zips up like a windowshade. *ZiiiipFwipFwipFwip* "Oh @)#%*!" and i'm *AWAKE*. not perky... but posessing the sure knowledge that any more sleep is just NOT going to happen for me. As a result, i get more done in the mornings, but i'd rather be sleeping in, most days.

Oh dear. Another one. If it's any comfort, I have been going to bed at about 9PM for the last month, and waking at about 4:30-5. This morning...3 AM. (*shakes head, lips going brbrbrbrbrbrbrbr*) I'm beginning to suspect it may have something to do with elevated blood sugar levels...I clocked 400+ this morning.
