Sometimes, Lions Can Be Lone Wolves

I want to go outside, get on my motorcycle, and ride far away from everybody.

But I don't have a motorcycle.

And even if I did, people would give me flack about riding off without them.

I need some time to myself.

Oh boy, do I know that feeling! Bob and I work together, and other than that we're at home together, and he never goes anywhere without me, so I never get to just chill out at home together, and it gets very frustrating at times. I mean, I love to be with him, and I don't get tired of being with him, but I can only do certain things when he's not there. Things like watching movies he hates that I like, or listening to music that he hates that I like, or roughhousing with the dog without having to watch out for his feet and legs getting trampled by Miss Bug of the razor claws. That kind of thing....or even just watching regular tv shows or cartoons that he doesn't like...just having control of the tv. He doesn't even sleep normally..he sleeps on the couch off and on, so if I start something while he's asleep, he'll wake up before it's over, and then gripe at me to turn it off because he's awake now and doesn't want to watch whatever I had on. Sigh. I wish he had a normal job so I'd have a few hours alone at home a few times a week.
