More Remastered VFX

The Tholian Web -- I've been waiting for this one. I'm eager to see Galileo Seven and The Enterprise Incident too.

On a related note, IDW Publishing will be releasing the first of its Klingon-themed Trek comics this month.

I caught a blurb about Scotty's ashes being sent into space, and I thought of you.

I was watching the first few episodes of the "remastered" Star Trek when they started airing them. They started off subtly enough ("Holy CRAP! I just saw the Gorn BLINK!"), but then they dove right into Big Sweeping Space Scene episodes and thoroughly enjoying themselves.

It's a very nice piece of work -- these guys have a lot of respect for the original series, and it shows.

The only reason we STOPPED recording them was because our DVR was getting full -- we still turn it on if we happen to be up when they're showing it, and it's always a delight to see what they've done.

On a related note, iTunes has all of Star Trek movies, the first season of ST:TOS, and the first season with the remastered effects available for purchase.

ZOMG! It's the Defiant! Did anyone else realize that is not a new name in DS9?

And is there supposed to be no sound? What is this clip?

Have the best
