Think I'll Give It a Miss

Well, I was interested in Daredevil, but I don't think I'll be watching it. Every review I've read of it (and these were the positive ones, mind you) said, "Bloody, angsty, dark..."

If I want bloody, angsty, and dark, I'll just watch the news, thank you. I've had more than my fill of bloody, angsty, and dark movies.

I have mixed feelings about that movie. On the one hand I'm sure that it's probably a pretty good movie on some levels, but on the other hand the ads have done nothing to sell me on it.

It's probably "bloody, angsty, and dark" in the same way that Jurassic Park 3 was terrifying. All overblown movies demand and deserve the MST3k system. God knows that's the only way I got my $9 worth out of JP3.

I'll see it anyways, if only for Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin. (Prime casting on that role, if only that role)

Yes, what we need now is a Wonder Woman Movie in the style of the 70s Lynda Carter show ;) Bright, colorful, silly and full of swanky musick and nobody gets killed ;)

Hear, hear! It would be nice to have a superhero movie or TV show that wasn't all doom and gloom.
