Fantastic level of energy captured here! The musculature of the arms and legs is subtlely standing out for a great pose.
And now the critiquey bits: His right arm could be a bit toned down with perspective. It's the same size as his (closer) left arm.
I'm also not sure what sort of facial expression you're going for. In the thumbnail he looks Very Happy. However, when you look at the larger version, his eyebrows are kanted downward into a bit of a scowl. Also, the whisker lines (while curving up) are also pointing down making him more scowly than he does in the thumb. Also, in the thumb, you can't see the teeth. He looks much happier in thumbnail than he does full res.
Perhaps it depends upon what sort of mood you're trying to capture: In the thumbnail, his body language says "Whee! Life is GREAT! I'm dancin'!" In the full res version, his body language says "Hey! Watch Out! Lookit ME! I'm FABULOUS and DANGEROUS!"
Personally, I was really surprised by the difference in the two views. Something I didn't expect at all! It's amazing how just a few lines change the attitude.
Lions should always have a hint of the dangerous. ;) But more than "happy" I was trying for a "Cut loose!" sort of expression, like maybe he was going "YEEAAAH!!!"
Interesting ... Scott called out the right arm as not being foreshortened enough! :D Just shows that different folks have different eyes, I suppose. :) My actual thought is, if anything, that the left hand should be slightly larger since the pic has more toony proportions generally (he's roughly four heads tall, rather than the more "realistic" five or six).
