Comic Art Basics
Mar. 3rd, 2006 10:56 pmCan I...
Do you leave space for word balloons?
Well ... um ... sometimes.

- Can you draw an old car?
- Can you draw a new car?
- Can you draw ankles, feet, and hands?
- Can you draw a horse? A dog? A bird in flight?
- Can you draw wrinkles in fabric?
- Can you draw a room filled with furniture from a point of view of:
- 6 inches off the ground?
- 5 feet off the ground?
- the ceiling fan?
- 6 inches off the ground?
Well ... um ... sometimes.

Dogs, birds, cool. Horses -- difficult.
Wrinkles? Yeah.
Can draw the room filled with furniture from all those POVs, but I hate doing it.
The space for the word balloons is the biggest challenge I have.
