I looked at the XML file generated by E-Tools's print command; it just randomly has "+3" in a "Misc. Modifier" tag. I'm thinking that maybe it's duplicating the magic bonuses there for some obscure reason (like possibly a programmer error), since he has +2 armor and a +1 ring.
The way E-Tools prints is kinda interesting ... it generates an XML version of the character file, then uses that to send an HTML file to Internet Explorer with a "Print this!" script. So what I did was instead of "print" I told it to do "print preview", found the temp file it sends to IE, edited the HTML to fix the errors and refreshed it, then printed that.
It's kludgey, but at least I have a correct character sheet now. Luckily, most characters don't come up with so many errors. E-Tools just doesn't like Scouts, for some reason.
