Last night was the second session in

I'm playing a grumpy lion barbarian (surprise, surprise) with the Iron Will feat, Wis 14, and Cha 13, so my character's response to all this was easily summed up as:

Nonetheless, it was a fun session. I definitely think the LA+1 adjustment for my character is warranted, even though I'm sad to take the XP hit that will require. I'm still far and away the most powerful character in the party, thanks to the combination of goodies the "Feline (large)" species gets and some lucky dice-rolling in the Ability Score department. Good thing too, tho -- in my role as party meatshield, I repeatedly took a heck of a pounding! Spent all of my gold on a healing potion and used it up, too. D'Oh!

PS: While I'm thinking about it, note to myself: Arshan needs to save up for some gloves of dexterity.
