That bit of historical fact is evidence of just how little control humans have on Global Warming.
Earth's natural phenomenon's (Volcanism, the change, with time, of Earth's orbit from circular to semi-elliptical, etc) and the variability of the Sun's energy output have more effect on climate that we do.
So, take THAT Al.
PS: Ever notice how Al Gore, with his rotund figure and the full beard he sported a few years ago made him look a bit like President William Howard Taft?
