Pacing the Cage

I've started and discarded about four entries, here. Something is bugging me, and I can't put my finger on it, which in turn just bugs me more. I want to move, be active, do something; but I'm chained to my desk. No weights to lift, no sifu to spar with, no way to burn off this agitated energy. All I can do is mentally pace back and forth, not accomplishing anything.

I tried to put this energy towards drawing earlier, but no dice. Drawing is too slow and sedate an activity.

I'll go out at lunch time and move around a bit; hopefully it will help.

I've Lost My Mind -- But It Can't Have Gone Far

Well, no SJ for the rest of this week, it's looking like, but I don't mind. :) I managed to do something new and cool today. :) It's a comic book page that I attempted to do in a more realistic style than my usual 'toonish stuff. I'm still a long way from doing splash pages for DC Comics, but it's certainly a big step up from, say, here. How about that, all that malarkey people told me about "practice" really did help! ;)

This alleged drafting table better show up tomorrow if Scott wants to get paid for it. 'cause I'm going to be out of town on Thursday!

Speaking of which, bad communication between myself and HantaMouse means we don't have a hotel room for Thursday night. (Yeek!) I'm working on ways to fix that, and if all else fails, I've got the promise of a generous loan of a floorboard or two, so the mouse and I won't be lurking in the lobby at 3:00 a.m. ... but we would both prefer beds.

BTW, if you were killed by a ninja today, it's not my fault. Blame graveyardgreg!

The new Cardcaptor Sakura DVD was supposed to be out today, but my usual haunts didn't have it. They didn't have it last time, either, and if this becomes a habit, they won't be my usual haunts much longer. Fortunately, it's available online or by order -- I just hate having to wait until AC is over to see it. It's the start of Season Two, already! Sheesh.

I imagine I've probably got other things to say, but I can't remember what they were. I think my brain went to bed ... maybe I should follow.
