Second Session of d20 Modern a Success :)
Mar. 16th, 2003 01:55 amTonight a new NPC joined the group, an Italiano tough guy named "Tony" who talks-a like-a Chico Marx, 'cause-a it's a quick-and-easy schtick-a. :) The chemistry between
jamesbarrett's teenage thrillseeker and Camstone's hardbitten veteran is going great; they really play off each other nicely. The NPC who was already in the group, the nebbishey researcher guy, is also starting to flesh out a little, although he hasn't really had a chance to shine yet.
Second session of my altered version of "Merchants of Terror" from Danger, International ... for those familiar with the scenario, the group spent the evening scoping out the Venice warehouse. They had a few light brushes with Bruno and got a glimpse of The Lady, and are now looking at ways to get themselves to the island auction. Tonight involved a lot of sneaking, watching, and climbing walls ... after an unexpected trip to an underground weapons dealer. Surely the Chinese Tongs have an outpost or two in Venice, right? Aren't such groups everywhere?
Best line of the night: "I couldn't read the license plate; it had Italian letters."
Anyway, I'm very pleased with how the game is going so far, and the guys seem to be having a great time. Much cool fun-ness. :)
That's all for now. G'nite!
