Anyway! First off, I'd like to thank everybody for their helpful comments on my art critique post. :) I'm still interested to hear what anybody who hasn't commented might have to say, tho, so feel free!

Second off, I figured I'd let people know that I'm working on a new NeverNever book, which I hope to have ready by Dragon*Con. Since we're almost out of copies of Childproof the Unicorns, my plan is to go ahead and let that one go out of print and replace it with a new, larger volume that contains the entire strip from the beginning and up to some point close to the current spot in the storyline, encompassing the ones I drew originally and following the relaunch, the 29 strips higginsdragon did, and everything from susandeer to date. I'm not sure yet if this is going to be a "revised editon" of Childproof the Unicorns (I love that title) or if it'll be something new. Sue and I have bounced ideas back and forth but haven't come to any conclusions yet.

Third off ... ummm ... there doesn't seem to be a third thing. I coulda sworn there was. Oh well! Maybe it's just the bit of my mom's Chatty Gene I inherited.

Normally I don't get into "Conan mode" unless I'm stressed or having a rough time at work, but for some reason I'm really jonesin' to roll the dice for some barbarian-vs.-monster action. Where's a double-bladed broadaxe when you need one?

Whether or not you like Hummers, this is basically the same gesture as burning crosses on the lawn, and has the exact same psychology. "We disapprove of you. We want you to get out. But since we're too chicken-shit to say so to your face, we're going to deface or destroy your property."

It's not cool. It's not funny. The guy did not have it coming.

Anyone who feels otherwise should take a good look at their soul next time they get ready to sneer at someone.

Wednesday No Workout Report

Been feeling a little under the weather yesterday and today, so no Bowflex tonight. Hopefully tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Gamer Section of my brain is trying to convince me to write up a Sword-and-Sorcery conversion for the Star Wars SAGA Edition. It would be pretty easy and fix large chunks of what I don't like about D&D ... but it would also eat up precious time, that I should be spending on either strips or the NN book.

Which, of course, makes my punk brain all the more interested in it. -.-

I didn't do gaming stuff. I found the remaining files I needed to put together the new NeverNever book, and I penciled Suburban Jungle strips for next week.

I am a slave to my muses! But hey, at least I'm achieving something.
