Blur?

Well, it's 8:33 local time and I'm wide awake for Con Saturday. Unfortunately, sitting around spouting a bunch of silly crap discussing profound things kept Vince, sirfox, confused00 up until 1:30 last night (4:30 my biological time, yikes).

The con had a shaky start for reasons I'll discuss later, but seems to be pretty much in full swing now. I've been trying to take fewer badges/sketchbooks etc. so I can do them slower and do a better job on them ... on the other hand, I didn't get enough requests yesterday to leave me with a lot of homework, so it worked out just as well.

I'm always surprised at how many new people come up to me at cons and say things like "I've been a fan for years" or "I've been reading your stuff since (whenever)," even at ones where I've been a regular for years. Quite the egoboo, of course!

Anyway, going to wander on and find a place that doesn't have loud TMI discussions going on ... the internet lounge is not a happy lingering spot at 8:45 on Saturday morning. Oy!
