• Thu, 13:41: 1st level: fighting 1st level goblins. 70th level: fighting 70th level goblins. Whee.
• Thu, 13:43: The only reason everybody puts levelling in, is that everybody puts levelling in. :P It was good for D&D, but it’s not good for everything.
• Thu, 13:45: Of course, in D&D terms, nobody in Lord of the Rings was higher than 6th level anyway. Lots of people don’t get that.
• Thu, 13:46: Elves in the Silmarillion were probably up to the 9th-10th level range.
• Thu, 13:51: Glorfindel: 10th level elf paladin. Maybe. 5th level upon his resurrection. Going to Mandos takes it out of an elf.
