Ran D&D tonight. Was first session of "Shadows Under Thessalaine" by "Monkey God Publishing." Pretty good, if some serious editing flaws. Some encounters need buffing for group, but they were easy changes. Session went well; much fun banter.

Went to Dave and Busters with Laurie today. Had some fun. Came back and had pizza. Am a little weary of "Is anything wrong? Is anything wrong? Sorry I can't help you," cycle; realize she's trying to be sympathetic and supportive, but if the discussion is just going to end with "sorry I can't help," every time, I'd rather it didn't start.

Sad about "the big issue" tonight. Wondering if it may actually be more fatigue than anything else. Going to try to get some sleep. Have to go in to work at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow until 8:00 ... have no idea when going to get strips done for Monday. Hate having job. Not as bad as being unemployed and broke ... but still nothing like good.

In a deep funk and getting deeper. Better go sleep. Good night.

Life does seem at times to be nothing but a vicious cycle. Hopefully, better times are on the way for all of us. Spring often brings new hope. *hugs*

I know who wrote "Shadows Under Thessalaine". He's lj user mouseferatu (someone on my Friends list). He'd appreciate feedback on his mod, I'm sure...and he'd be tickled that you bought it and ran it.

Well, I don't know if this will make you feel better, but that big meeting with great opportunity is today...

Well, if working for Monkey God was for him anything like what working for White Wolf was for me, the editing problems and such were inserted later after he sent in his text. ;)

On the whole, it's a nice module; my only real complaint is that it needed more (and more comprehensive) maps.

I've been on both sides of that dialogue. Sometimes I wonder why Cameron wants to bear her soul to me if she doesn't want the help I have and can't understand when I don't help her. Sometimes I want to leap over my desk and kill my roomie when he asks, "is there anything I can to to help you?" Yeah, hold still while I cut out your heart with a spoon!

Heh. That felt good. :) You should try it sometime. (Passes his now bloody spoon to Gneech.)
