After banging out so many pieces the past few weeks for the AC conbook and such, it's a little disheartening to end a weekend with "only" Monday and Wednesday's strips and one badge done.



Rory hasn't seen it yet, so I don't know if he likes it or not. Assuming he does, I'll do a LJ icon to go with it as well. I did a little work on hbar98's commish as well, but nothing showable. Once that's finished, it's on to the "Official LEONA Fanboy" image.

I ordered some pre-lined comic book page sheets for the Carpe Diem work; once they get here, I'll have to start looking seriously at the scanner and some kind of table to put it on. This is going to be a logistical challenge!

Stoopid weekends, being only two days long. I've got more stuff I want to do before Monday!

Dang, I looked at that at first and said "there's something wrong with the eyes" only to realize I was looking at the glasses. I can sure sympathize with the weekend problem. I could certainly have used another twelve hours or so. Looks like I'm going to miss a deadline due to the usual 'instant holes' that appeared in my weekend. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for Leona. Always fun to tug her tail when something new comes out.

How much would a badge-type thingy for D*C be?

Well right now I don't have any badge slots open; I generally do them in batches of five, announced in suburban_jungle or the SJ forum, because the slots fill quickly. I'm just too slow to do it any other way.

The price is usually $25 for a laminated 3x5 badge and a matching 100px LJ icon.

Sometimes it really does feel like there's just not enough time in a day, or in this case, a weekend. I know i've got things backed up for some time that I need to get done, but just haven't had the time to take care of. Eh, one of these days I'll get there.
I look at it this way, all you can do, is all you can do. NO one can be expected to do more than that. And I know most of us try.

Cool on the drawing. :) which reminds me, I've got a tail I need to make for Rory too. Just have to get the fur to do it with. That's the pain in the arse. lack of funds to get said fur. Oh well. ;) Till next time.
