Yes, I think I can definitely say that MFF is out. I'd say that D*C is out too if the money hadn't already been bloody spent for the plane ticket, and even then I may punt because of the hotel cost.

Oh well, I'm not going to think about that any more tonight.

Gave Scott a call, per his request, to just touch base generally on the crossover event thingie. Anybody who's tried to arrange phone conversations with me in the past can probably tell you that it's not an easy thing to do. I don't like talking on the phone because I do a lot of "Ummmmmm ... uhhhh ... what was I saying?" I can't keep my thoughts focused, and end up wondering if there are any local villages that have an "idiot" opening.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if I seem brusque or distracted on the phone, please don't take it personal. I just suck at phone conversation. I do 85% of my communication with TEXT and like it that way. Scott, I hope I didn't seem standoffish; it's not my intention. I'm just, y'know, awkward.

*grumbles* Stupid economy. Stupid terrorists. Stupid me spending too much stupid money at AnthroCon.
