The scanner has been ordered.

Between the orders, the Tip Jar, and Laurie's and my tax refund, it's pretty much all paid for. :)

But the best news is, it's not that much larger than my current scanner -- so I don't have to buy new furniture to put it on! That's what finally beat this one out over the Epson I was considering.

Now let's hope it works.

I have an epson - the 3 in 1 stylus one

However as I have been having back luck recently only my laptop will accept any scans from it and it's ran out of ink :(

and I have college assignments to hand in on Friday (and no more money to buy new cartridges .. the damn things are expensive!!!
Going to do what any college student would do in this situation .. ask mum >:D

Wow, that's one major piece of equipment. But then I've done just as bad in the past.

I like the Microtek ScanMaker scanners. I've had perhaps half a dozen of them and they are real work horses. I also like the interface software. Scan Wizard is nice and easy to use, you can set up loads of jobs in it and fine tune the settings to your heart's content.

Hope your new toy comes in soon.
