Need a Little Not-Suck, Right This Very Minute

Work has been extra stupid at lythandra and me the past several weeks, and we could both really use a convention. Unfortunately, there are no handy ones in the offing in the immediate future that I can find. I found the Pittsburgh Comic-Con April 21-23, and the Middle Tennesee Anime Convention April 1-3, and that's about it.

I'm leaving on Wednesday for a convention in Texas. It's not a furry con or comic con or anime con or gaming con or anything like that, though. It's an art con. Basically it's a place for people to go and read their term papers. It'll be nice to go someplace warm, but then I'll be stuck inside for most of it.

ICON is this weekend, up in NY. Large Anthro community there. (IIRC Uncle Kage will be there along with Bill Holbrook and Stan Sakai)

If the Pittsburgh Comic-Con is still like it was the one time I attended (in 2003, or so), it's not really worth going. The main space was really dull.

If you're into attending panels and such, it might be more interesting.

why not just take a weekend...
