It wasn't a workout strictly speaking, but [livejournal.com profile] lythandra and I, joined later by [livejournal.com profile] sirfox and [livejournal.com profile] jamesbarrett, spent the day pretty much from 8:30 on helping [livejournal.com profile] pholph load up the truck and get on the road. ([livejournal.com profile] sirfox had been helping him until the Whee! hours of the night last night, apparently, and so understandably slept in a bit.)

We were fine in the first half of the day, emptying out the roughly garage-sized storage facility where a lot of [livejournal.com profile] pholph and [livejournal.com profile] pocket_entropy's stuff was; but then came the apartment.

Have I mentioned that Ryan and Candi lived in a third-floor apartment?

It was not pretty. The heavy boxes, even the ones marked "Frickin' Heavy!" wouldn't have been so bad -- I'm 6'2" and 300 lbs, I can tote heavy boxes 'til the cows come home. But it was climbing back up the stairs every time that done me in. *thud* Fortunately, a shower has restored me to the land of the living for tonight's billiards.

In any case, I think I've made up for the lax week, exercise-wise. ;) [livejournal.com profile] pholph is on the road now, and we'll miss him. But he's off to be with his wuv, so that's okay. :)

Where are my shoes?

Edit: SirFox uses a Tetris analogy...

ask Don---he's good at finding 'em..

Mmn, must've been tough, but you can brag about it just like that, eh?
Keep it up, Gneech!

>.> Shoes..? uh.. Aren't you always barefoot? (Wait, I think you said shoes are worn as a fashion thing or something in the world of the Suburban Jungle..?)

Someone else would have to bring those boxes to the bottom of the stairs for me. My knees wouldn't handle multiple ups and downs. They don't handle it even without a load!

Have the best

Ryan was having similar knee issues, so we made him "our man upstairs" and had him pack and sort and such.
