Argh! You didn't just invoke the name of that Disney project, did you!?!? In a favorable manner, yet! Now, I am fully aware of the fact that DEV2.0 is an authorized project, but after a few minutes exposure to them, I had to go be violently ill. Especially when they sang their cover of "Beautiful World" completely irony-free. Part, I've seen you comment before, you're a reasonably intelligent being. But this....AAAGH! (*runs out of the room, frothing at the muzzle, even though he's had his shots!*)

(*grins*) In addition, I just might be a little sensitive about the subject of Disney. I have an ongoing gripe about their rebranding most of my childhood stories. I think I mentioned it in past LJ entries. In addition, when they bought Cap CIties/ABC, they outright cancelled one of my favorite cartoons, Reboot. I have never forgiven them.

I hear you, my friend. I hate Disney with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns. It's only the fact that I've found some more evil organizations to hate in recent years which has quieted my personal jihad against Disney.

It's hard to get bent out of shape about cultural pollution when there are well-funded plans to destroy freedom, democracy, science, peace, and United States Constitution going on.

With respect, I must disagree. When you get home after along hard day of fighting injustice and attempts to subvert our nation, I want to be able to relax and recharge. When an (off-the-top-of-the-head estimate) approximately 30-40% of my entertainment is now provided by Disney or a subsidiary (Touchstone comes to mind,) that's not very relaxing! While the organizations you cite are indeed evil, (I had not visited any of these sites previously, thanks for the linkage!) It's not possible to be effective in actively fighting their wretched hives of scum and villiany if I'm not rested and refreshed!
