This workout was supposed to happen on Thursday, but I was so stressed out on Thursday that all I could do that night was sit around and recuperate. So I did it today instead.
The video choice was Charlton Heston's Treasure Island. This was made-for-TNT some years ago (1990-ish) and is very hard to find, but it is the BEST. PIRATE. MOVIE. EVER. Pirates of the Caribbean and The Sea Hawk are mighty good, but definitely second to this one.
Charlton Heston as Long John Silver.
Christopher Lee as Blind Pew.
Oliver Reed as Billy Bones.
Christian Bale as Jim Hawkins.
Julian Glover as Doctor Livesey.
Music by The Chieftains.
Oh yes, it is awesome. Why this didn't get a theatrical release, I'll never know -- but it is, as I say, the best pirate movie ever. We have a VHS copy, and are still seeking it on DVD.
Anyway, on to the workout report!
Rows: 3 mins @ 55 lbs (warmup)
Flat Barbell Bench Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 85 lbs
Narrow Pulldowns: 1 set 10 reps @ 65 lbs
Triceps Pushdown: 1 set 10 reps @ 45 lbs
Bench Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 65 lbs
Seated Lat Rows: 1 set 10 reps @ 45 lbs
Rear Deltoid Row: 1 set 10 reps @ 45 lbs
Chest Fly: 1 set 10 reps @ 45 lbs
Deadlift: 1 set 10 reps @ 45 lbs
Military Press: 2 sets 10 reps @ 25 lbs
Rows: 3 mins @ 40 lbs (cooldown)
Body Weight: 298 lbs
Now, it's off to get some dinner, then D&D tonight. Catcha later!
