It depends on the browser; some will render it, some won't. (It shows up in my copy of Firefox, for instance.)

Obviously because blink was a netscape tag ;)

Marquees, of course, are also just as evil.

Sadly, though firefox seems to have a browser.blinkallowed config setting, it doesn't have the same for marquee.

The <BLINK> </BLINK> tags are there, but some browsers don't know what to do with them.
