Oy gevalt.

That's the funniest thing I've seen in days.

And the people who most need to won't see either irony or camp in it.

Jesus... Dude, I'm no art critic. Seriously.

I like to think anyone can become a professional if they try hard enough.

That art was just horrible! o_o Better than SOME I've seen out there. But, still... :P

That almost physically hurt to look at, considering the text trying to convince the reader that she was an actual pro. :P

I'm being excessivly harsh 'n' all. But, man... If Vince doesn't cry at that, I sure as hell will. :P

I should amend that while I AM aware that it was a spoof of sorts, it did kinda take the joke a little too far in some places. :P

The original is making the rounds of most of the comics blogs I read. It's a terrific summary of all the lazy, sexist cliches in comics art.

What The Gneech linked to is a splendid parody, putting female figures in the poses that the men were in, and vice-versa.

"Splendid" isn't the word I'd use, but my taste in parody runs mostly through to Weird Al Yankovic. ;)

"Splendid?" It's not splendid if half the time I couldn't tell what gender they were...took a long time for it to sink in as a parody, because the lack of context made me think it was just someone trying to make a comic how-to for gay people o.0
Yeah, I know that was sort of the point, but a better artist could have retained the structure and anatomy of the gender and still done the silly stereotypical poses and exaggerated features. I had to read about half of it before realizing they had switched BOTH the genders. I thought that the artist merely had no ability to draw chests (since that is the ONLY difference in most of those pages).

As [livejournal.com profile] pegasus316 said, I'm crying at the art itself ;_;

That's just wrong. It's accurate, but it's still just wrong.

My goodness, the parody is just beautiful, and it still makes me want to cry :)
