NO, it WON'T, because you guys KILLED Dragon Magazine and Dungeon Magazine.

What D&D Insider provides its members with is a PAY BY THE MONTH BLOG. It is NOT a magazine. It is NOT Dragon Magazine, it is NOT Dungeon Magazine, and it is NOT what I want!

Okay. Time to put this stuff away and not think about it any more tonight.

Honestly, the only real thing missing from the original Dragon and Dungeon magazines are the paper and the ads. Stuff will be getting put out every 3 days (blog style, like you mentioned) and then collected into "issues" you can download at the end of the month.

Think of it less like the magazines being killed off, and more like them undergoing a drastic polymorph. :D

That's just the point, is that it isn't a magazine any more. It's a blog. It might even be a good blog. I don't know and I'm not likely to find out, because what I want is the magazine I've been reading since 1979.

It's exactly like they were killed off. And I don't think I'm ever going to be able to forgive WotC for it, no matter what they do in the future.

I disagree, but maybe that's because I've gotten "e-zines" before. It's just something I'm used to, so moving the content of those magazines online doesn't bother me. I don't miss the physical media itself.

I have been a loyal non pdf.'er for a while. I have friends who use pdf everything but I want a book I can flip through. I want to be able to look up errata in my sage like dnnd library when the power is out. I hate reading in blog format as so many people just toss in their irritating inane two sense. With a magazine its only real info from the source. I can keep it at my side with no technological requirement as I play at the table. It would be silly to put a pc on our overloaded dnd table.

p.s. sorry if I sound rantish this angered me alot. i will NOT be buying any 4.0 stuff if it is not completely 3.5 compatable. Ill go play WoD exalted or something but WoC already sees no more money from me when they screwed magic the gathering when 4.0 comes out they will see no more of my dnd money either.
