Speaking of Cons...

I'm going to do my best to attend Katsucon, Otakon, or both this year. I won't have a table at either this time around, but depending on my production schedule and the vibe I get from the con, I might get one in 2009*.

*I would like to note here, that it boggles my mind to be making plans for 2009. I'm still getting over the idea that it's not the 1990s any more.

yeah, for all my childhood dates after "2000" were used as shorthand for "the distant, scary future." and now here it is.

it's like when in college i visited someone in frederick, maryland. :) (which highway signs around my house had always used as a stand-in for "north")

Strange tangent alert: Frederick, Maryland is where all of the Roy Rogers restaurants (except the one in Leesburg) moved to.

The rest of the area, they're rare as plutonium, but in Frederick, there are two on every block. It's bizarre!

I miss Roy Rogers. I loved their fried chicken! :d

*points finger at Roy's Fried Chicken I am eating* Hehehe, I love Frederick ^.^ ROFL, anyway, I don't know if I will be able to attend Katsucon this year, but hopefully will have a table at Otakon again this year. It is fun, not as profitable of a con as Anthro or MFF, but then again, I don't have an anime style. Bill Hollbrook always goes tho.

As I recall, there's at least one RR here in the greater Charlotte area. What gets me is that we're still getting commercials for Joe's Crab Shack and the only one in the area closed it's doors six months back.

As I told my former supervisor when I was a contractor at a tire plant. It's the 21st century, where are the flying cars? I know you tire people are conspiring to keep them away from the public to sell your tires.
