Having mastered -- or at least puttered around with -- making word balloons in Illustrator, I am going to make them all like that for next week's strips and see where it gets me. Should be a fun experiment.

With new programs comes new skills! It's sorta like buying new equipment in an RPG! You can't learn throwing knife techniques if all you ever buy are battle-axes, right? I'm glad the software's running well!
