Boris Karloff made a supremely wise choice not to return for Ghost of Frankenstein — even Lionel Atwill couldn't save that turd. As hokey as Bride of… and Son of… were in spots, they look like pure cinema masterpieces by comparison. (And Bride does have some very nice moments, when it's not being campy.)

I'm almost afraid to watch House of Frankenstein, now. 0.o And not for the right reasons!
