What's better than doing work you're pleased with?

Doing work you're pleased with for an appreciative audience. :)

Tonight I got a double dose of that. :) First was with the Hotel California/The Prisoner filk I wrote to post in the 21st Century Fox forum, and the second was ... well, I can't really say who it was, but let's just say it was artwork and it was well-received. :)

All that icky stuff from earlier in the week is gone now. :)

G'nite everybody. :) Find somebody handy and hug them for me!

Actually, [livejournal.com profile] level_head deserves all the credit for that. :) I just took his idea and ran with it. But it is an inspired choice!

Well, remember to steal from one is plagarism. To steal from many is research.

Waitaminute! You're a bat! Shouldn't you be bowing down and up?

The Prisoner? Ooooh. Nifty. Rover rocks. :)

Heh. Yeah, I loved that. I really respect the fact that the Prisoner made a BALLOON one of the scariest things you'd ever seen. Most folks would be like... "Oooh, a scary balloon..." And then would be promptly squashed. Plus, the roar was great. ROOOOAAAR!

Did the midget servant ever have a number? I can't remember if he ever did or not.

Nope, he was simply referred to in the script as "The Butler." And in one script, he actually had *gasp* a line of dialog!

"I'll see if he's available, sir."

Fortunately, they cut that out. :)

Ah. I was pretty sure he was sans number. I just couldn't remember if I'd just 'overlooked' the number or not. And he actually had a line? Wow... And your right, it probably was for the best that it was removed. He was more mysterious that way. :)

As far as I know, the butler was the only one who didn't have a number. "The Supervisor," the bald guy in the control room who always said, "Orange Alert!" when it was time to release Rover, had a number, but I don't know what it was.

Of course, the butler could have been like No. 6, and just never worn his number...

Hmmm. I suppose that could be true. Although with the way he was always working with No. 2, you think he would have been wearing it. I suppose it'll remain the great Prisoner mystery.

But I don't *know* Jack Handy or any of his family! Can I hug you instead?

I, too, love the Prisoner. I totally missed the reference until I read your poem, too. Very tasty. Hehehe.

I once rented a two-video set of Prisoner eps and made my roommates watch them for six hours or so. Bru-ha-ha-ha!

*Ahem*

Anyhoo... DYK that Patrick McGoohan was actually the first person asked to be James Bond? He decided it was not a part for him because Bond has far too much sex, which offended his Christian morals. So he reccomended to them a friend of his-- a Scott by the name of Sean. Personally, I think it was a great thing for both of them. he does No. 6 so well, and can there be a better Bond than Conenry?!?

I assume you've seen this site? http://www.retroweb.com/prisoner.html
