I was hoping to do that this year, but until SJ gets wrapped up, I don't think it's likely.

That said, if work stops battering me over the head with a sledgehammer, SJ might be done in the first week of November; I might jump on board just to see how much I can get done. But given that I don't have so much as a plot idea, much less an outline, it's iffy.

Next year, Nano, yer goin' down!!!

EDIT: Well, I set up an account, just in case. :) If anybody has a request for a hurriedly-written book by The Gneech, now is your time to ask! Note that suggestions of Suburban Jungle novels will be roundly ignored. ;P

Plot to destroy a galatic empire or two resulting in the discovery of an ancient embryo at the centre of the galaxy

Lovecraft meets Speilberg type thung

Sorry - have no idea what sort of stuff you are likely to write - this just popped into my head when I saw you post/tweet.

Huh. I'll have to ponder that one! Thanks. :)

or something we know a lot about, dot-commiedom. The ups, the downs, the lack of correlation to anything resembling the outside world...

I have a MM outline; I don't really want to try to approach that one with the bonzai attitude NNWM requires, tho. Interestingly enough, [livejournal.com profile] graveyardgreg made the same suggestion.

The dot-comedy sounds interesting ... I'll play with that idea.

I figured that it would be easier to proceed with a somewhat fleshed out character. Looking forward to seeing the outcome.

How About- A man wakes up in a world exactly like the one he knew, but music is the only form of communication: armed only with his very heavily loaded MP3 player, he must figure out how to make himself understood.

Even at my wordiest, I don't think I could spin 50,000 words out of that.

If Suburban Jungle is out, and Michael Macbeth is also a not-so-much, what are the chances of a Brigit and Greg novel?

I have bits of an outline for one of those, too, but again, not sure I want to give it the "Burn it down!" method of writing.

I was thinking more about some kind of idea I don't really care about, like "Professor Robotic and the Cat Women From Outer Space!"
