Okay, I'm officially sick of hearing about "Gore is back."

Bush is no prize, but Gore would be a disaster. The most profound service he could perform for his country would be a quiet retirement.

Here's hoping that being defeated in 2000 will be the highlight of that bozo's career.

EDIT: While I'm on the subject, I want to remember this.

If the Democrats can't nominate someone better than Gore, then they'll suffer the same fate the Republicans did when they nominated Dole. Nobody cares who is in the party hierarchy; they care about who can do the job. The only way to guarantee Bush a second term is for the Dems to nominate Gore, and if they do, then they deserve to be irrelevant because they will be clearly out of touch with the public.

Gore's a sharp fellow and I have no beef with him, but I would no sooner vote for him than I would vote for Dan Quayle to lead and represent this country.

I respectfully disagree, but this is probably no surprise...

I similarly respectfully disagree 100%.

*Shrugs* I'm not ashamed to admit it. I voted for Bush once, and I'll vote for him again.

It was refreshing to me to finda candidate I felt I could vote for, instead of casting a vote against his opponent.

Alas, a time will come when the entire nation will feel that way.
