my niece had pierced ears at 3 or 4. GMLD was 13. I was 15.

She's around 12-ish, but Sue generally draws her as a bit more mature than I did. Maybe she just grew up a bit between Childproof and Attack of the War-Cats. ;)

today most 12 year olds wear makeup and earrings...although I remember in my 6th grade class in Newbury Park seeing girls get sent home for wearing makeup---I don't know if that would happen today....
