Actually, most of it's boring stuff really, but I'm trying to put a positive spin on it.

Anyway, today is the 110th anniversary of the first performance of The Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky. Keep dancing, sugar plum fairies!

I need to get some dark sweatpants for my Kung Fu class; I need to find some that don't have elastic gathers at the bottom, or if they do, have such long legs that they don't ride up while I'm in class. The cuffs of my pants were lurking around my shins last night, making me self-conscious.

Also, I think I'm going to have to get my hair cut tonight. The sides have gotten very long, to the point where I'm getting this sorta Prince Valiant thing going on with curls around my jawline ... and they keep poking me in the cheek.

I've been avoiding getting my hair cut because I haven't decided what I want to do with it. I like long hair (hey, I'm a lion, gotta have a mane!), but I don't want it to end up looking like Shaun Cassidy (or David Cassidy either).

Actually, I want my hair to look like Nekobe's, but since he is an illustration and I have to live in the real world, I don't think that's likely to happen. [1]

The rest of tonight, I've got to get as much SJ drawn as I can ... I'll be out of town on the weekend, so I've got to get Monday's done before then.

[1] Let's be honest, I want all of me to look like Nekobe! Le sigh.

110 years. And they haven't cracked that nut, yet.

Must be a Brazil nut - those things are tough.

If you let your hair grow long enough, and use the appropriate chemicals, you CAN make it look like that. I would LOVE to have my hair look something like that, but it's just too damn fine.

Heck, I wish you looked like that too!

Le sighs.... I miss my long hair...

Does it have to be sweatpants? If not, you could probabbly find a pair of drawstring pants or pajama pants.

Well, athletic pants generally. Don't have to be sweatpants, but they have to stand up to the stuff we'll be doing in class. :) -TG

I'd reccomend drawstring pants. I've always been a big fan of them. Well, at least I have since I got a tie-dyed pair of them, which was today. Now I can wear tye-dyed EVERYTHING!!!! *evil laugh*

Woah! You should put a warning on that link! ;)

1) Cut the elastic cuffs in your current sweatpants.
2) Don't do it! Just pull it back in a short little ponytail. That, or send it to me so I can dye it to match my hair and make a wig-- my hair simply won't grow long. It fro's.

I'm lucky to have wavy hair. If I was to let my hair grow out, it might become like that. (Put warnings next time you link stuff like that!) But, when it is medium length, it curls up on the sides and becomes poofy. =P

You could get black gi pants in a size six or seven long; I'd guess that a six would be plenty. Obviously these are designed for the stretch you will need, and the material is intended to take abuse. They do not ride up.

The "hiyama?" style pants, used for sword practice, would not be appropriate. The legs are very wide indeed, but these are not intended to be mistreated.
