I have a lot of stuff to do this weekend; so much that I expect I won't get to it all. However, one thing I absolutely want to make sure I do:

Read a book.

It's been entirely too long since I did that, and my brain always starts to go wonky after a while without a serious book-reading. (Not necessarily the reading of a serious book ... that's something else entirely.)

Right now the top contender seems to be The Eyre Affair. I hope it's good!

The Eyre Affair is a FUN book. I really enjoyed it, even though I'm not a fan of Charlotte Brontë.

It's a good book, if a little cartoony for something using Charlotte Bronte. fforde has a way with jovial nightmarish lighthearted dystopias; I've just finished Shades of Grey and rather liked it.

It is good! It is very silly. I'll second that about jovial nightmares.. the whole Thursday Next series gets weirder and creepier and more hilarious the further in you get.
