I Don't Wanna

I don't wanna do SJ any more tonight. But tomorrow's isn't finished yet.

I don't wanna do this storyline; it's like poking at an irritated tooth.

I don't want to have told Vince, "can't talk now, gotta draw" during the only window of time he was online tonight.

I don't want the week I have the least time to draw in months, be the same week that I've got a bunch of complex layouts.

I am bummed.

It's the Holidays:

It's Christmas, so we'd like to put up our best efforts,
but because of the Holidays we're just as pressed for time
as the rest of the world is.

Of course, with all the stress going around, this is the
time when people need comics more than usual.

I'm pretty exasperated myself. I had to recolor tomorrow's strip completely. Lost everything except
the thumbnail I'd sent you. Very annoying.
As is, I may end up splitting Monday's strip into two
strips for Monday & Wednesday. I do NOT want to do that,
but what would be Wednesday is going to be a VERY
challenging layout. :/

All that said: I have to point this out to you, Pal:
Pete Abrams of Sluggy Freelance *just* finished his
Halloween story. It looks like he's going to launch
into a week long re-cap of his previous Christmas
stories so he can star this years Xmas story. But,
by the time his recap is over with, Christmas will
be over!

Still, I don't think anyone complained. I don't think
anyone would gripe if you miss a day. And if they do,
lemme at 'em!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know you're not alone, Pal.
I got yer back. :)

Thanks! :) I figure that the week of new years', I can probably take a bit of a break, but I don't want the characters in the strip wearing their Santa hats until February, y'know? So I've got to keep the storyline moving. :)

Come on, there are easy ways to can storylines. ;X) Have some fun with it.

Remember, in a worst-case scenerio, you can always pull a "Bobby Euwing in the shower" to resolve a plotline. ;X)
