Grrf ... headache, back pain, today doesn't look promising. In the words of the immortal Bugs Bunny, "I shoulda stood in bed." Oh well, at least it's Friday and there's a strip up.
In other news, in case anybody's wondering how the Clié is working out, the answer is, "Very well, with a few minor glitches." Most of the glitches have been of the "accessory doesn't work and has to be returned" variety -- the first IR keyboard I bought, and the Flash Wifi card that the guys at CompUSA swore up and down would work but that turned out only to be for PocketPC, that kind of thing.
I did have one annoying glitch today, which is that I've discovered that the synching between the Palm address book and MS Outlook may not be quite what it's cracked up to be. I'm finding random duplicate-but-not-quite-identical records, records where not all the data has copied, stuff like that. Today I was going to send my step-grandmother a mother's day card (which I wanted to send off Wednesday but couldn't for various reasons, but oh well), only to find that her address isn't in the Clié. :-` Her phone number made it through all right, but the addy (that I entered into Outlook and assumed would transfer with the sync) is just poof! gone.
*random comment* -- Hey, I have Tim Powers's e-mail address. Neat. :) I oughta send him some fan mail. "Dear Mr. Powers, I haven't actually read your books, but a lot of my friends have and they tell me I would love your stuff."
Aheh. Anyway.
On a totally unrelated note, I need to do some ars gratia artis this weekend; doing the strip is a chore at the moment, so I need to do some art that's just for fun ... when I'm not having dinner with my parents, going to kung fu, doing a boatload of laundry, drawing for next week, or going to the store.
