Stupid Travel Arrangements!

You wouldn't think it would be so hard to find a red-eye flight between DC and NY Friday night/Saturday morning.

In fact, you (or at least I) would think there were hundreds of them. ¬.¬

Nope!

Of course, JetBlue didn't help me by quietly showing me a flight for Saturday NIGHT when I put into the site that I wanted to get there Saturday MORNING. -.-

Anyway! BroNYCon flight booked, leaving DCA at 6:05 a.m. Saturday morning and arriving at JFK 7:10 a.m.

Also, an extra JetBlue ticket purchased. Grr. That I won't be able to cancel until 72 hours out from the flight. But then I should be able to do so with a full refund, assuming the website isn't lying.

This is an expensive con, particularly considering I won't be doing any sales! Good thing I opened up commission slots. O.o

Speaking of which, if you have a commish and you haven't e-mailed me yet, please do so. So far I've only gotten payment from one commissioner. Thanks! I hope to get cracking over the weekend.

Do ALL the Things!

Pursuant to my previous rant, I'm happy to say that I've got myself happily set up with Remember the Milk. The free version (i.e., "just use the website") is certainly a steal, but to get the sync-with-Outlook option, I had to go ahead and pony up for the "Pro" version, but at $25/year, that's perfectly reasonable. I've certainly already started using the hell out of it.

What can I say? I love my too-much-to-do lists. I forget stuff without 'em.

Anyhow! I've put all of my con prep, commission, business stuff, tasks-for-the-family, and household errands that need doing onto it, making quite a long list indeed. But the great thing about it is, now all I have to do is start at the top and go, which is my plan for today. If all goes well, I will have at least two commissions done today, as well as the last big whack of prep for AC and BroNYCon. (Actually, BroNYCon is pretty much taken care of, now I think about it. So, AC.)

Awww, yeah. Gettin' stuff done!
