My Dad (Who's Been Gone a Decade): "Okay, I'll get a couple of logs from the stack of firewood that's outside on the other side of the room."
Dream Me: "Well, I think we only need one. But that wood's been there for a long time, watch out for sna—"
Laurie: "I FOUND AN OLD MATTRESS, LET'S BURN THAT!"
Dream Me: "What? No, that's a terrible idea!"
Morning DJ: "We've been having some trouble with time here in the studio this morning, which is why an alarm clock you haven't had for ten years is floating up on the air with the wrong time on it."
Dream Me: "What? How does that even happen?"
Real World Dasher: *walks on me, wakes me up*
Awake Me, realizing it's 2020 and all the shit going on: "Why doesn't this feel any different?"
