This week has been kinda overwhelming for me, for reasons unknown. I just feel stressed and like no matter what I do, I'm just holding on by my fingernails for the weekend to get here so I can finally let go. As such I've been pretty withdrawn from most social interaction and just sorta curling up into a mental ball wishing the world would leave me alone for a while. Or occasionally faking it and being sociable anyway, because I don't want to deal with the consequences of going off to sulk for too long.

That said, I have managed to do a few things; I picked up Captain Marvel #3 last night, for instance, and I'm still enjoying it, although the story was disappointingly short this time around. The main event was only 17 pages, with two pieces of filler to round out the issue.

Believe me, as an artist, I totally understand the need to do this. As a consumer, I was still left going, "Wait, that's it? You just barely got through two scenes."

Those 17 pages were still really good tho. :) I'm going to set up a subscription box at the comic shop just for this series and its trades-- which means I need to find three more titles I want to fill it with. (Oops.) I expect I'll end up with the IDW Ghostbusters series and its trades and the Pathfinder comic, at least to start.

Anyhow. Let's have a workout report, while I'm at it.

Lower Back: 1 set 10 reps @ 90 lbs (medium)
Arm Extensions: 1 set 10 reps @ 120 lbs (medium)
Ab Crunch: 1 set 10 reps @ 100 lbs (medium)
Upper Back: 1 set 10 reps @ 100 lbs (medium/tough)
Vertical Traction: 1 set 10 reps @ 135 lbs (medium)
Shoulder Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 55 lbs (medium)
Chest Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 70 lbs (medium/tough)
Leg Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 180 lbs (medium)
Arm Curls: 1 set 10 reps @ 60 lbs (tough)
Cable Cross: 1 set 10 reps @ 70 lbs (medium/tough)
Squat Lift: 1 set 10 reps @ 70 lbs (medium)
Weight: 322 lbs

I haven't been posting the workout reports here for the week, largely due to that overwhelmed feeling I mentioned earlier, but we have still been going without interruption, so I'm at least pleased about that. For some reason, arm curls are getting harder instead of easier, tho, which baffles me. Not like I was planning to put on any gun shows any time soon, but I do want my biceps to improve, not atrophy.

Anyhow, that's all for now, I gotta get to work. Have a good day, all.

Wow. I could have gone quarterly if I did that :-p Except for having to draw twice as many covers. Yeeks.

:hugs: Hang in there, it's Friday!

Presumably, these folks are professionals who draw for a living. It's a little different. ;)

That said, yes. I'd be gobsmacked to be able to produce 17 pages in a month.

*hugs back*
