My most recent fedora was purchased at Lord & Taylor, and ran somewhere around $45 IIRC. They are getting scarcer and more expensive all the time, alas.
I've had several over the years; depending on how often you wear them (and how much abuse you subject them to), they tend to have a lifespan of 6 - 10 years.
