More Big Better Booms

So far d20 Modern looks like it will be good. :) Despite his misgivings about the genre, Camstone was all over the game with a big ol' grin on his face the whole time. I also like the chemistry that is starting to form between his grizzled, hard-bitten veteran soldier and jamesbarrett's energetic young thrillseeker of a gun-toting surfer dude. They play well off each other, I think.

Right now, my NPC team member is kinda dull; I picked a geeky knowledge-based character to sorta fill in the gaps left by their more action-oriented guys. I'm going to have to try to come up with something interesting to do with him. I'm running "Merchants of Terror" from Danger, International, converted to d20 and brought forward into contemporary times -- meaning c. 2002, rather than being set in 1986 when it was written! It's a pretty standard "stolen nuclear warhead" plotline, but it has some cool bits, and I intend to add a few more.

I'm pleased. :) I hope the game continues to do well!

Well if you want to toy with your players, you could do what i did and make the NPC a spy for a extra-dimensional empire, ready to turn on the players once the campign is in the right place.
Oh, the NPC is a bumbling professor. with a kitten. ;)
