  • Thu, 13:36: Haircut tiemez! For some reason stylists always give me a uniform partless puff. :P Fortunately I can restyle it myself.
  • Thu, 13:37: One of the stylists literally had @mlp_Twilight's hair, right down to magenta stripe.
  • Thu, 13:38: Complimented her on it, asked if it was modeled on Twi, she said, "Who?"
  • Thu, 13:53: Unfortunately, I think I might have made her uncomfortable, so I bailed out of the conversation as gracefully as I could.

  • Thu, 22:02: Welp, I think and I hope that I finally worked out what I want to do for my new convention table display.

  • Thu, 22:03: I also need to actually do some that “Finishing Commissions” I’ve been trying to do for two weeks now.
  • Thu, 22:04: I’m trying to create a new sort of identity for myself and my work, building on what I liked best before. I want the table to reflect it.
  • Thu, 22:05: Until now, I’ve gone with what was handy for my table displays, and it worked, but it had no character.
  • Thu, 22:05: The new display, I hope, will have character at least. :) Whether that will lead to more sales, I dunno.
  • Thu, 22:06: What enabled me to succeed before was having @mammallamadevil at my table to help, because she was a force of nature.
  • Thu, 22:07: Even after she stopped coming to cons, there was residual benefit for a long time. But I’m on my own now.

  • Thu, 22:08: In any case, I’ve got sanding and painting to do tomorrow. Hope it’s a sunny day.

  • Fri, 11:51: A lot of tweeps in my feed are framing this as a Dems/Reps fight, in which the GOP got their clocks cleaned; that’s a serious misread IMO.
