• Fri, 22:36: Been playing through Sword Coast Legends. It’s a reasonably-enjoyable hybrid of Baldur’s Gate & Neverwinter Nights. But it is NOT 5E. :P
• Fri, 22:37: It has 5E art design, and they slap some 5E names onto MMO-style cooldown powers. But it has none of the underlying philosophy.

• Fri, 22:39: All the irritating “fifty babillion magic items of negligible effect each” and “golfbag of different damage types” tropes are there.
• Fri, 22:41: You do get to choose powers and customize your character some, so it’s a little less “you are your gear” than 2E/Baldur’s Gate.
• Fri, 22:43: Anyway, it doesn’t suck, but the interface is clunky and it doesn’t feel like 5E. If all you want is “MOAR Neverwinter Nights,” it works.
• Fri, 22:44: Now, having given my unsolicited opinion of a videogame that was released a year ago and kinda flopped anyway, I’m going to bed. ;P
